(window and the image behind)
The duo solidifies blue color fields on former glass table tops and a window. Their hand written engravings, shaky pigmented lines, comment on the fragility of glass and the blurry zone of looking through a window. This view through glass fools the eye of the beholder – either it focusses on the window or the image behind it – seeing both at the same time is impossible. Small, coated ceramic pieces build the cellular core of each work; they are placed like window handles or keyholes directly on the glass surfaces.
